Girls Succeed at Emagination

Things are changing rapidly in STEM fields for women. Girls may still be outnumbered in tech fields today, but Emagination STEM Camp is working to empower girls to be stronger, more confident and more tech-savvy. Our Tech Camp is a welcome haven for girls who want to build their tech skills and make friends with like-minded individuals.

Emagination Supports Girls in STEM

  • Nearly 50% of Emagination's Instructors are Female and are Real-World Role Models

Dream It. Believe It. Achieve It.

According to a recent national Girl Scouts study, 74% of teen girls are interested in STEM — but only 43% will consider a STEM-related career.

Women in technology are doing amazing things and changing the world for the better. Emagination prepares girls with technology education along with a summer camp experience that is designed to further social development and self-confidence.

Role-Models for the 21st Century

On average, 20% of Emagination campers are female—with a return rate that matches their male counterparts! This is because our summer camp is a place where girls can feel at home, make friends, and develop technology and life skills.

Nearly 50% of Emagination counselors and leadership staff are young women pursuing STEM-related careers. They serve as positive, inspiring role models to all campers—and encourage our girls to aim high.

Co-Ed Learning

Emagination STEM Camps are co-ed programs that promote an environment of  inclusion, mutual respect, cooperation, and creativity. Boys and girls who learn together are better prepared to work together.

Girl Time

During every camp session there is a special night for girls only. Female staff and campers (Day campers too!) get together for a fun evening of activities and community.

Female overnight campers are housed with female staff in a dedicated wing of the campus residence hall. This wing is a supportive community that fosters relationships and peer empowerment.
